I got locked in Target

So tonight was pretty interesting...

I've been working in the backroom at Target for a couple of months now...I mostly stock extra merchandise on shelves, or pull things down to be put out on the floor...it's basically like working in a warehouse. Anyway, I mostly work the closing shift, as I did tonight. Well, once the store had closed and the sales floor team was done straightening up the store, the boss let everyone leave and she locked up the store....with me still in the backroom!

Eventually I came out from the back and realized NO ONE was in the store. So I had to go out through an alarmed door, which of course sets off the alarm. I then called the Police and told them what had happened so they'd know it wasn't a real break-in. Then another one of my bosses showed up to reset the alarm...he was laughing, cuz I guess this has happened a bunch of times at our store - a backroom worker gets left behind because the boss on duty forgets to tell them that everyone is leaving.

So I was glad I wasn't in any trouble or anything like that...I just hope the boss that locked me in doesn't get in trouble either. Man, what a night [img]confused.gif[/img]

I woulda looted the place, hurried and loaded my car, THEN called and alerted the authorities of the "mishap."

After I called the Police, it took them half an hour to show up! How did they know I was telling the truth? I could've been some guy who broke in, then gave them some BS story to stall them...I could've made out pretty good in half an hour! [img]graemlins/devil.gif[/img]
